Sheila Asselin |
Sheila Asselin pieced the top which was machine quilted by Eleanor Leach. Asselin lives in North Haverhill, New Hampshire. An active RSVP volunteer through Thresholds & Decisions, she is also an avid quilter and amateur quilt historian. She has worked with the New Hampshire Quilt Documentation Project documenting historical quilts for the state archives, and organized several Documentation Days in the Haverhill Area. Asselin is currently president of the Oxbee Quilt Guild in Bradford, Vermont and also a member of Heart and Hands Quilt Guild in North Haverhill. She is also a member of the American Quilt Study Group headquartered at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the largest publicly owned quilt collection in the world, which sponsors research into all phases of quilt making.
