Claremont New Hampshire, Community Room. Parking: Not right near the building - please save that for customers. Background: over the years, coordinators of volunteers from various not-for-profit agencies have intermittently gotten together to network, and to share resources and expertise on volunteer management. An informal gathering, the group decides on agenda items for future meetings. In the past we've reviewed volunteer service descriptions; talked about recruitment, recognition, and retention; and discussed how NH Department of Labor laws pertain to volunteers - including Youth Working Papers. FYI: Upper Valley Coordinators meetings. Note: this is a "bring your own lunch" meeting - no one has time for more meetings, but we all need to eat! So bring your own (sardines, chocolate, sun tea, eating utensils, whathaveyou,) and be prepared for an informal opportunity to network. And, bring your business cards, brochures and ideas! AGENDA Introductions: who we are, what agency we represent, how long we've been in the position, how many hours a week, how many other hats do we wear? And one thing you'd like from today's meeting.
