Listening Session

For 37 years, our sponsor, Grafton County Senior Citizens Council, Inc. has developed, strengthened and provided programs and services that support the health, dignity and independence of older adults and adults with disabilities living in our communities.

This fall, GCSCC is holding Listening Sessions, (Schedule of sessions,) at a variety of locations throughout Grafton County. These sessions offer a formal opportunity for participants, local elders not currantly using GCSCC services, the families of local older adults, plus aspiring elders to speak what is on their minds. GCSCC is conducting these sessions as part of a planning process for the organization. With the region's older population growing rapidly, GCSCC wants to make sure the agency is prepared to meet the needs and desires of its constituents.

Please look over the questions which will be addressed at the listening sessions, so GCSCC can benefit from your thoughtful responses. If you prefer, you can provide written responses to the Survey and mail them.

GCSCC provides a wide range of programs and services through a network of eight senior centers, in-home caregivers and homemakers, and sponsorship of the Grafton County ServiceLink Resource Center and RSVP & the Volunteer Center. GCSCC's current services include:
