2010 Raffle

We have five wonderful prizes for our 2010 raffle! Two talented RSVP volunteers plus a generous friend of RSVP - Nancy Meier, Judy Rook and Jean Bolduc - have made and donated items. Two businesses donated items - Eastman Golf Links and Walmart - to support the efforts of volunteers and the program.

The tickets are designed so folks will have a chance to choose the prize they wish to win. Donations requested are $1.00 per ticket, or $5.00 for a book of six tickets. The drawing will be on December 10, 2010. Winners need not be present; they will be contacted by phone. Winners pay for any shipping.

The raffle compliments other funding: grants from the Corporation for National and Community Service; the State; Grafton and Sullivan Counties; the United Way of the Upper Valley, as well as towns, and foundations, plus individual donations and our Annual Haverhill Autumn Festival FUNdraiser. With your help, we can continue to provide vital volunteer recruitment, placement and support services in the 54 towns throughout the 2,302 square miles that make up Grafton and Sullivan Counties. Meaningful assignments, free supplemental insurance, mileage assistance, and recognition activities for volunteers' accomplishments are some of the tangible benefits of volunteering or hosting volunteers through RSVP & The Volunteer Center. For the communities, the benefit of over 45,479 hours of service contributed last year by 385 volunteers through 35 non-for-profit programs, and municipalities can be valued in dollars, and measured by the impact made on peoples' lives. See pictures of the prizes below.
