January 18, 2010 is the day that volunteers across the country will help keep Dr. King's legacy of service to others alive. National Volunteer Week recognizes volunteers at the local, state, and national levels during the week of April 18 - April 24, 2010. Join Hands Day brings young people together with adults to create new and better relationships by working as a team within there own neighborhoods. See what they did in 2009. Make A Difference Day on the fourth Saturday each October, aims to inspire and reward anyone helping others on this day. Submit an entry form about your volunteer activity to be eligible for a national or local award and for a cash donation to a charitable cause, as well as mention in the USA Weekend magazine and on the Make A Difference web site.
